About the Founder of Beyond Organic:
At age 19 Jordan Rubin was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and sixteen other clinical diagnosis. When his body refused to improve with conventional and alternative medicines, it seemed he was bound for a life in a wheelchair. Jordan took control of his own fate and built his health from near death to that of a healthy adult. Jordan promised he would dedicate the rest of his life to sharing his health wisdom and went on to write twenty books including “The Maker’s Diet” to help others learn from his journey. In 1999 Jordan and his wife founded Garden of Life, a whole food nutrition company, and in 2009 Jordan sold it to set out and do his life’s work.
