Mmmmm Bath Kisses...Melt 1 oz. cocoa butter, 2/3 oz. shea butter, 1/3 oz. sweet almond oil & 1/8 tsp. each frankincense & sweet orange oils. Pour into small molds (candy molds works well), place in freezer for 20 minutes. Place one or two into hot bath water & enjoy :0)

One herb that is (almost) always soothing is Peppermint. It soothes the stomach, head and nerves. It's one of my favorite herbs! There's also Ginger which soothes not just the tummy, but joint pain and muscle aches, prevents migraines and eases menstrual cramps. I could go on, but it's very late and I have work in the morning.

Rose Hip oil with peppermint is great for the face and gets you going in the morning.

I use it regularly.

Sounds good! I am going to the store today to pick up some ingredients for a natural anti-aging spray. I thing it came about in the 1600's. I'll post the recipe after Ive had a chance to try it out :0)
Here is a Royal Recipe for never ending beauty...are ya ready?

This is allegedly from the 14th century & was used by Queen Elizabeth of Hungary who was known for her perpetual youthful beauty...this body splash was her secret.

Mix 1/4 c. each of vodka & orange flower water, then add 2 drops peppermint essential oil, 12 drops rosemary essential oil & 6 drops each of lemon & bergamot essential oils, pour into a glass spray bottle & shake before each use.

I'll be picking up the ingredients today...it certainly can't hurt :0)
The consensus is...refreshing! Not at all overwhelming, just a fresh, clean herbal smelling face & body spray. As far as the improved skin tone...only time will tell :0) .......
I've made this recipe twice and I must say, the combination of essential oils used are really smashing together. As the mixture ages the scent develops and matures into somethiing quite unique and refreshing. As for the perpetual youthful beauty...we'll see ;0)
Use Lemon balm tea for cold sores...

Lemon balm is a first-choice herbal treatment for cold sores, which are caused by a type of herpes virus. It has antiviral properties that work to curb herpes outbreaks, according to  James Duke, PhD, author of The Green Pharmacy. Prepare lemon balm tea by brewing 2 to 4 tablespoons of the herb per cup of boiling water. Let it cool, then use topically on the cold sore several times a day.

Licorice for calluses and corns

Licorice contains estrogen-like substances that soften the hard skin of calluses and corns,” says Georgianna Donadio, PhD, director of the National Institute of Whole Health. Make this homemade licorice paste: Grind up a few licorice sticks, mix them with ½ teaspoon of petroleum jelly, and rub the mixture into the rough areas of your feet.

Hi There, inflammation! must of the general inflammation start in the digestive system, like rheumatism, sinusitis...etc..etc It's often cause by having fruits including tomatoes with every meals,  using syrups or honey mixed with other food like bread..... and the non stop eating ( snaking) bad habit.

Love

JM

I agree Jean Marc. Inflammation is so very often at the root of the problem and the culprit is generally what we are eating. So simple yet so difficult for many.

One of my coffee table books that I use as a  quick reference guide, & occasionally do more serious reading from is:

Prescription for Herbal Healing, by Phyllis A Balch, CNC, author also of Prescription for Nutritional Healing.

Filled with a wealth information as well as resources for additional research.
