I am getting so inspired by the stories coming in from members who overcame adversity and challenge (loosing hundreds of pounds, traveling the world to discover the most effective Health & Wellness caregivers, creating programs, books and tools for others after overcoming massive challenge themselves) to create their Wellness business. I'll start sharing these in article format next week. One question...would you like to see these interviews in Podcast format as well?

Top 5 Tips On How To Grow Friends and Your Health & Wellness Business With Online Communities And Social Media

Use your name and your company name - Don’t just identify yourself with your company name. People want to know the person behind the company. This is true if you are the key contact of your own company or you work for someone else. People want to identify with people not products.

Share a little bit about your background - Whether in an about us area or somewhere appropriate on your profile. People connect with other people.

Include a link back to your site if appropriate - Where is the best place for people to get a hold of you? It'd probably your web page...don't forget an email capture option on the front page.

Be open to and answer communication from others - Share your expertise, answer questions, thank people for communicating with you.

Be yourself not a commercial - Enough said ;)

Are there opportunities in front of you that you are not seeing? I thought this was a powerful representation of what we may be doing if we are not open minded and adaptable.

Are you reaching out to make connections and find people that can help you achieve your goals? It can be tough in a world so connected to really connect but it's critical to your success.

What is the area you most need help with? Marketing? Cash flow management? Product development? Distribution? Planning?

Finding people and tools that shine in areas in which you are less than stellar can mean the difference between failure and success!

we must do with and through people."
