My name is William Siong from Singapore and this is my first time interacting here. I was invited by Kim here to see if I could get advices from the experienced marketers in this Group for an eBook I wrote "How To Avoid "Volunteering" For A Heart Bypass Surgery" after my Surgery 4 months back.
My 2 worries were:
a) It is written in "Conversation English" style as I am not a writer by training.
b) It might not be good enough for sales (although I tried selling it at TripleClicks but no result, someone even suggest going to Amazon)
I have a blog about Health but have not been actively updating it for a while because I was focusing on another blog (MakeMoneySmartlyx.com) BUT I was thinking of offering this eBook as some kind of LIST BUILDING tactics for future sales on Health related products.
I am open to suggestion, critics or anything just to get this eBook out there in the hope that people reading it will want to do something with their existing health. It's kind of trying to "frighten them" a little bit regarding having a Heart Bypass Surgery. I will even consider changing the Title as long as it can go Viral.
You can download the Actual eBook here and may I thanks everyone in advance for whatever you have in mind for me or my aim to make this eBook my first success online.
I would love to be able to monetize it as well, so that the money can be use to pay for my medical expenses especially when no one out there will employ me with a condition such as mine (with plenty of post-surgery followup or consultation).
Cheers and have an abundance-filled weekend!
William
P/S: I will be updating it with some post-surgeries scenario or incidents that was not written on this
ebook yet as I wrote it 2 weeks after being discharge from the hospital.

If you used this as a give away to build a following on a blog (your name as a URL?) that overviews your experience and how you've since made changes to your life to life in a more healthy way (exercise, diet, stress management etc.) then you can start to build a community of people interested in your story and experience. These would likely be people in a similar situation looking for solutions (for themselves or a loved one).
You can then start to add products of your own or products from select companies as offerings on your blog site. In other words, you can use this as a tool to build your community and brand (There are many, many tools to help you do this from Social Media to SEO to direct connections you already have.).
Stay targeted and focused on what has worked for you, what you really believe in and items can deliver value for your readers/followers.
Please feel free to ask any additional questions and I wish you the best of luck with your endeavor.
