Here's a snippet from a recent post that pulls together some thoughts on branding and strategy. 

What is your strategy? 

Are you looking to reach businesses? LinkedIn is a great tool to develop your personal as well as your corporate brand.

 

Is your potential client base age 25 & under? Twitter or Instagram may be great tools to become well versed in.

 

Pinterest is a great tool to help increase your Google rankings and contrary to what most people think, you don’t have to be selling interior design, art or food to have a successful presence.

 

Facebook is an ever evolving and ever moving target but because of its shear size can’t be avoided in most instances.

 

We can talk Social Media until the cows come home. It’s an ever developing group of resources that when used correctly can be incredibly powerful, when incorrectly used can ruin your reputation in a heartbeat. The entire subject is overwhelming for many business owners and may be one of those things that you just need to get some help with…at least to set it up & get it going; once you have a better feel for how each instrument works and what is best for you then you may feel more confident about taking things over yourself.

 

In my humble opinion, your web page, blog or community is always far more important than your presence on any of these devices…remember what is here today may be gone tomorrow and if you are not capturing that potential customer information yourself, all your hard work may be for naught (Myspace anyone?).

Hi Tom:

Basically, companies that manufacture products or services within the Health & Wellness genre (high quality, proven effective on our end before agreeing to represent) . Generally 1M - 5M in yearly sales with a desire to outsource a portion of or all of their marketing-PR-outreach. I have a place in my heart for helping grow these types of businesses as I believe the world is much better off when more people are living vibrant, happy, long and productive lives.
