Outer: Negative energy from people, traffic, television, cell phones, your computer and even your attitude.
Mental: What is your focus? Why can’t I make things work? Why does everything have to be so hard? Why don’t I ever get it right?
Physical: Chemical laden processed highly addictive Franken foods (think packages & boxes with ingredient names you cannot pronounce…also, check the source. Yesterday I found a lovely packaged container of pine nuts in my produce department, when I turned it over it read “Product of China” Pinenuts? From China? How much sense does that make? But I digress)
Ooorrr…
Outer: After a stressful day you take time to decompress with a walk, swim, work out, or whatever works for you. You schedule this time and it is non-negotiable. You shower or bathe (sea salts or Epsom salts are great for this) before bed to wash the days events off of you, you read something positive and give thanks for all of the blessings you have before closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep.
Mental: Before rising, and throughout your day, you imagine the most desirable scenario unfolding before you. The most important items on your to-do’s get done easier and faster than you thought. The meetings or events you attend go very well, you make some amazing new connections and friends. Your family is happy and helpful. Now this is a great way to live!
Physical: You are aware and choose to ingest only items that fuel your body. Everyone really thrives on various diets at various times of their lives so I am not saying, “eat only protein or eat only veggies & fruit” I am saying “Please eat real food!” Please take the time to educate yourself on farm-raised seafood, feedlot raises cattle, the conditions poultry are raised in and where it all comes from. Please educate yourself as to what preservatives and additives and hormones can do to our bodies. Then choose to cook and prepare carefully selected items that you and your family and friends can enjoy (keep it simple…you can do it). The type of meals that when you are finished you feel completely satisfied and energized not bloated and tired. Does this make sense?
Reality: Now, I am not saying that you must be perfect in every way every day. I am certainly not. Or, that every day will be a blissful walk in the park. I am saying that you have far more control than you ever thought in terms of living a healthy, happy, successful, and beautiful life. You have the tools. You just need to dust them off and press activate. Then do it again, and again, and again, or for as many days you want to give life the best you have to offer…doing so may actually cause life to give it right back to you.
